Itera uses PRINCE2/Prosjektveiviseren as its project management model. This method is internationally recognised, and is used in both the private and public sectors. At Itera we prioritise quality and therefore manage our projects with great care.
We are also flexible and strive to make project management as simple as possible, and we adapt and scale projects in terms of the associated documentation, up-front planning and reporting, including reporting to the customer.
We do not take shortcuts, and we adhere to the steps and activities set out in our management model to be sure that we deliver both on time and with a high level of quality.
Our project managers have also managed a range of development projects in accordance with the principles of Lean Startup. Lean Startup is a development approach that makes it possible to quickly make an idea reality or meet a business need in the market.
We have managed to reduce the time-to-market on a number of projects by over 70% compared to what would have been possible with more traditional development methods. We achieve this by working in a focused way on creating a minimum viable product so we can measure, test and learn before carrying out any further development. A successful Lean Startup project requires focus, buy-in from all stakeholders, barrier-free progress and, not least, a common understanding that what is being created is a minimum viable product that will be developed further.
